video voyagism: live the language

This is hands down one of my favorite little travel videos! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! The cool thing the people that produced this video, Education First, has made them for a handful of other cities, from Barcelona to L.A.!

video voyagism: the longest way

So I can't remember if i've shared this video with you all or not, but I'll share it again because it is great! This guy walks through China and grows some serious facial hair! And since my husband is finally back in Seattle, I just wanted you all to get a feel for what he looked like getting off the boat (Brian's bear was definitely rivaling this guy's beard).

Do your remember these "Where the Hell is Matt" videos? I just came across the first one today and forgot how awesome this guy is! Hope you enjoy!

video voyagism: we go sri lanka

Sri Lanka just keeps getting more enticing! Although, I don't think I could settle for any other mode of transportation besides train.

video voyagism, san diego time lapse

After watching my husband create his own time lapses, I know that it takes a long, long time! That is why this video is so incredible! There are so many different scenes from San Diego, all time lapsed. It is stunning!

video voyagism: a story for tomorrow

This is a great little travel video! A Story for Tomorrow, by Gnarly Bay Productions takes a road movie one step further by crafting their journey into a fable. It features beautiful scenes from South America.  Speaking of South America, anyone try a Pisco Sour yet!?

video voyages: the road trip

I'm taking off today from Coeur d'Alene and heading back to Seattle. I am a little sad to be leaving 90 degree weather and the water, but hopefully I will return soon! In the spirit of summer and road trips, I had to share this gorgeous little video!

happy friday and video voyagism: lake cushman

I was going to share a video about Western Australia, and then I came across this stunning local video made in the Pacific Northwest. It is set in Lake Cushman, which is south of Seattle. I went to Lake Cushman about two years ago with a bunch of friends and it is as beautiful as it looks on the video.

video voyagism, bipoland

Juxtaposing the horrors of the holocaust against contemporary Poland; this video is as haunting as it is beautiful. I stared at my screen long after it ended...

video voyagism: jerusalem in 60 seconds

This is a fast, no a super fast, video of Jerusalem. Not sure if I caught all the historical intricacies of the holy sites, but I did catch all the beautiful shots of Jerusalem. Enjoy!

video voyagism: awe land

It has been a chilly, cold week here in Seattle, so the mood of this video fits perfectly. The "Isle of Awe Land" is a beautifully shot and edited video on Iceland. If it didn't look so damn cold, I would be booking a flight ASAP.

happy friday! and a little video for your weekend

2011 was the best year in this guy's life! Awesome little video that really captures the essence of backpacking...don't mind the kite surfing (it was impossible to find a non-surf video of Tahiti, so I thought I would share this instead). Hope you all have a great weekend and Mother's Day! Enjoy:

video voyagism: a postcard from bali

I had to sift through a whole lot of surf videos to find this gem. This video is a little longer than what I normally share, but it is so beautiful, I couldn't help myself. I kept shouting at my computer saying, "I've been there, I've been there!!"

video voyagism: afghanistan

Have you ever wanted to go somewhere that you knew was completely and utterly dangerous to go to? I have a feeling that some of these "forbidden" places are some of the world's most beautiful. This video confirms that...

video voyagism: corfu, greece

I think this video is an ad for something, but I don't mind if you don't mind! It is a beautiful little video and I would love to be sitting on a sailboat in Corfu right about now!

video voyagism; going to cappadocia, turkey

This past fall, our friends David and Heidi toured around Europe, and ended up staying almost a month in Turkey. I've seen their photos and heard them talk about Cappadocia, which is in central Turkey...and it all made me insanely jealous! And now this video comes along and I almost can't stand it anymore. I'm going to have to hide my computer so I don't impulse buy a ticket to Turkey!
This video is awesome, so be sure to check out their other travel videos if you really want to torture yourself!
