Something always has to go wrong on a trip, or else you really aren't traveling. We are lucky enough that all of our catastrophes happened before 5:30 am the morning of our departure. First, two failed alarms (I mean really does that ever happen!) and second, a very minor- tiny- teensy detail: no visas. Well we really didn't think we needed visas because we are traveling throughout S.E. Asia, but the lady at Alaska seemed to think we were lying and planning on living in Thailand without visas for an extended amount of time. After fighting her by saying we were in fact leaving the country, by some miracle she let us through and we were on our way to L.A.- Japan- Seoul-Bangkok.

Konnichiwa bitches! Hope we run into you two on your travels! Have fun in Thailand. Eat Panang Chicken, hangout in Chaing Mai and go to Angor Wat near Seam Reap, Cambodia. It will blow your mind and it's pretty cheap. Don't take the tourist bus direct route from Bangkok to Seam Reap, it's a total rip-off. Take public transport. Visa on entry.
