Melaka day #2

Let me just say, nothing tastes quite as good as when you are eating with your hands and off of a banana leaf.  We have eaten at this Indian restaurant two lunches in a row, and for some reason the combination of dishes served on a banana leaf is spot-on!
What else is spot on is our hostel. We are staying at The Roof Top Guesthouse and we have been greeted each day by fresh baked goods and fruit! The place is spotless and the couple that run it are as nice as can be, so we really don't feel the need to ever leave!
As for Melaka, we have been taking it real sloooowwwwww....we spend the morning sleeping in, making breakfast, doing some "work," and then venturing out in the streets where we end up getting too hot so we make our way to the mall.  We have never spent so much time in malls before, but man that air-con has never felt so good. We also saw another movie (this town actually extends past a historical district to provide all the modern "necessities")- we saw "No Strings Attached," which was actually pretty damn funny and then we went home to Google the whole Willis/Moore/Kutcher clan, Brian thought that was great fun! Now we are looking forward to spending a few more lazy days here while eating our way around this chilled-out town.

Oh and stay tuned- we have another video on the way!
