Today was my first attempt at surfing, and Brian's second. It is a lot harder than it looks! We sat out all day in the sun and then rain, while I got to play out my pro-surfer Blue Crush fantasies, it was AWESOME. I also attracted a pack of locals who made it their mission to coach me through my unsuccessful attempt at surfing...so thanks to all the locals of Gili-T, but I think I will stick to surfing behind a boat.
