Wanderlust Wednesday: Palacio Nazarenas, Peru

After browsing through my favorite site, Adelto, I came across Hotel Palacio Nazarenas and had to share it with you all. Palacio Nazarenas is located in Cuzco, Peru, the capital of the ancient Inca empire.

Set behind Cusco's main square in a serene plaza, Hotel Palacio Nazarenas was once a palace and covenant and is now one of the most interesting/ upscale hotels in the city.

My favorite part of this hotel is the DIY cocktail kit they give each room. You get to indulge in spices and herbs from the hotel garden to create your own wonderfully exotic concoction.

Although this boutique hotel is a far cry from the covenant it once was, the hotel has painstakingly protected the ancient Incan walls it sits upon.
Luxury also doesn't come at a price for culture here, each part of the hotel is dedicated to keeping the Peruvian atmosphere, even sending you home with the hotel "perfume" to remember your trip by.
