weekend recap, lake chelan

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend! I start my new job tomorrow (YIKES!) and I am definitely anxious, but with the help of a lot of wine,  I was able to put it out of my mind for our long weekend in Lake Chelan. We tasted a lot of wine and chocolate and took a lot of photos, with great friends...an absolutely perfect winter weekend getaway!

We also came to Lake Chelan with a purpose, we volunteered to shoot our friends engagement photos/ video. I can't wait to show you Brian's stunning photos, but for now you get to take a glimpse of mine.

Engagement Photo Session in Ballard

Last Friday, we took engagement photos for our great friends, Samantha and Nick. 

The stars aligned and gave us a bright, sunny day! That, combined with the gorgeous backdrop at Golden Gardens, made for wonderful photos!

We also headed up to Kerry Park to catch the sunset...
