We made it to Bali!

We finally made it to Bali! We arrived after a grueling travel day- up at 4:00 am to catch the 5:00am bus to Kuala Lumpur. Our early morning taxi was drunk from the night and didn't remember to set an alarm and after some frantic phone calls we finally got a ride and made it to the bus. We arrived at the airport about four hours too early so we hung out in the airport Mc. Donalds for fun, and boy was that a good time!

When we arrived to Bali, we were greeted by our friends David and Heidi, of the Winter's Abroad. They showed up to the airport with two motos in tow (sorry mom)- so we loaded ourselves and our ginormous bags onto a toy scooter and set our sights on the town of Kuta. Kuta is not the Bali we imagined- its more like Vegas/Phuket/LA mashed together- not a pretty sight to say the least. Anyways, day two was much better so stay tuned for a post on that tomorrow- and enjoy our random monkey shots from Koh Phi Phi!
