road trip day 32: brooklyn

We chose to explore Brooklyn rather than Manhattan because there was no way we were taking the Nugget to Manhattan and we've never been to Brooklyn before. I am thoroughly happy with our choice because Brooklyn was a lot of fun. We started our day over coffee and pastries (the best way to start the day if you ask me) and then set out to explore. We went to Coney Island first which was rather creepy because it was completely deserted. After Coney Island we took the train back into Brooklyn and started to explore the boroughs. We used Refinery 29's Badass Guide to Brooklyn as our guide and basically took off on foot. Here is what we saw (we made it to five neighborhoods):
