Have a Wonderful Weekend!

August is flying by far too fast! In a week, my childhood best friend gets married! In two weeks, it's labor day. And in two weeks + 1 day, I head back to Seattle to pick up my salty fisherman! In three weeks, I head to Mexico, and in 4 weeks, i'll be exchanging vows, barefoot on the beach.

Pretty crazy! I know this coming month is going to be a whirlwind, and in the middle of all that, I've got to find somewhere for us to live...I'm the queen of procrastination, so hopefully i'll get inspired to start crossing things off my to-do list! 

In the mean time, it's the weekend, and two great friends (and my favorite travel buddies) are heading into town and I am so excited to hear about their upcoming adventures!

Photography Monday #15

This weekend we rode (with around two hundred other people) 

throughout Coeur d'Alene on a "bike-pub crawl" of sorts, and the pubs 

happened to be various houses with kegs. If there wasn't alcohol involved, 

I still would have wanted to mob around with a big group on bikes, 

because for some reason that is incredibly fun...it's like you own the streets!

*most of these were taken while one-handed biking...not so easy, sorry about the blurriness!

Back in Idaho

Have you ever been to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho? It was recently rated as one of eight "idyllic lakeside summer towns, " and is my parent's new residence. I arrived this afternoon and my sister immediately took me to CDA's farmer's market. We picked up bags full of local, fresh produce + the first huckleberries of the season!
