Well, we've gone and done it! We finally booked our tickets to Puerto Rico! We have 15 days on the island and I can't stop googling images of the stunning beaches and colorful towns. One of the places I am dying to go is Culebra, a little island outside of Puerto Rico that is only 7 miles long. Culebra's Flamingo Beach is consistently voted one of the best beaches in the world. I can't wait to sink my toes in the sand and explore this little island!
Since we are heading to Puerto Rico in a few short weeks, I'm trying to get a list going of best places to stay, which has proved a pretty easy task. Casa Yaboa in Culebra is nestled in a giant tree. I'm pretty sure that I will choose a tree house over any other standard option!
Casa Yaboa runs about $150 per night, and in Culebra during the Christmas season, that is cheap. If you are looking for a budget friendly vacation, then definitely cross Puerto Rico off of your list until the off season. We are learning that the hard way!
So, so, so jealous, this will be such an amazing trip!

ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous! I'm not a huge beach person, but when they are this good, even I can't help myself. And I would never say no to staying in a tree house!!!
