road trip day 29, boston

As luck would have it, we hit Boston the same day as the Red Sox won the World Series. I'm not a huge baseball fan, so I really had no idea what was going on, but as we stepped off the subway, we realized that all of Boston and the surrounding area was downtown at that exact same moment we were.  Confetti streamed out of the sky as a flood of people clad in Red Sox attire chanted throughout the streets. The air was charged with the electricity of hundreds of people immensely proud of their city. We fell in love with Boston at that moment. What added to our love of Boston is this awesome little red line painted throughout the city. By following it you get to essentially take yourself on a walking tour of Boston's history and it turned out as a great way to see Boston's different neighborhoods.
