Roadtrip day one

Well we've done it! We finally took off on our grand USA roadtrip! For the most part we are booking it over to Maine to catch the fall colors . By booking it I really mean driving 55 the whole way because that's as fast as our motor home allows. We took off last Friday from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and made it to Butte,  Montana.  The journey took us about five hours. Once we made it to Butte we found ourselves a cozy little Walmart & went to sleep. Driving through Montana is gorgeous any way you go,  but we were facing snow and 20 degree nightly temperatures, so we didn't want to press our luck and stay in Montana longer than what it takes to drive straight through!

    1. Thanks Colleen! I can't believe the snow either! It's hot now that we are in the midswest, which is crazy but we are definitely thrilled to not be sleeping in 20 degree weather!

  4. Montana always seems like it takes so long to drive through! Did you guys miss the horrible snow storm in the Dakotas?
