Well we've done it! We finally took off on our grand USA roadtrip! For the most part we are booking it over to Maine to catch the fall colors . By booking it I really mean driving 55 the whole way because that's as fast as our motor home allows. We took off last Friday from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and made it to Butte, Montana. The journey took us about five hours. Once we made it to Butte we found ourselves a cozy little Walmart & went to sleep. Driving through Montana is gorgeous any way you go, but we were facing snow and 20 degree nightly temperatures, so we didn't want to press our luck and stay in Montana longer than what it takes to drive straight through!
I'm glad you're coming to New England - it is beauuutiful here right now!
ReplyDeleteAhh Amanda, do you have any New England tips for us!?
DeleteSo so exciting! I feel like I've already said this a million times, but I can't believe that your road trip is finally actually here! Been stalking your instagram feed like a creeper ;) xxx
ReplyDeleteAhh I can't believe we actually are on the road either! So glad you are following our journey! Remind me to ask you tips for california come March (your are from there right? :)
DeleteI can't believe you are already facing snow. That's crazy! But makes for good stories?
ReplyDeleteStay safe! xo
Thanks Colleen! I can't believe the snow either! It's hot now that we are in the midswest, which is crazy but we are definitely thrilled to not be sleeping in 20 degree weather!
DeleteMontana always seems like it takes so long to drive through! Did you guys miss the horrible snow storm in the Dakotas?
