Happy Friday you all! Any exciting weekend plans? I am going to head up north to go peep some Tulips. You may remember my post last year about them, but if not, it is a pastel-hued paradise up there. What do you all have planned this weekend? We are helping friends with wedding things and then heading out to Whidbey Island on Sunday to check out their wedding venue! I've never been to Whidbey Island so I am excited for a little adventure.

Happy Friday! We take off for the coast today and plan on hiking tomorrow.  I'm hoping that we stumble upon hidden hot springs while we are on a hike (apparently there are a few hot springs on the coast!). Anyway, we are excited to get together with friends and take the nugget on a journey. Each of our friends owns a Westfalia camper, so it'll be a parade of vintage rides (i'll take lots of photos for Monday's post).

Today's video was shot all at night in the Namibian desert. It is stunning and mesmorizing...

Happy Friday you all! Do you watch the Superbowl? I'm not a big football fan, but I am a big fan of eating and lounging all day with a group of friends, which is exactly what I had planned to do! But, instead I am taking off for Coeur d'Alene, Idaho today to go and hang out with my family and maybe even play in the snow! How about you, any lofty plans for the weekend?

What do you all have planned this weekend? We are taking off today for Port Townsend and Port Angeles (nerdy fact: one of these little oceanside towns were featured in the first Twilight). Anyway, we have to drive up to Edmonds and then take the ferry over and I am super excited for a little weekend getaway! We are bringing the nugget too, so here's to hoping our little RV starts!

I can't believe it is already November! We've been living in our apartment for over a month now, but it feels as if we just moved in! I will share photos as soon as we finish building our dining room table, coffee table, desk, and tv rack (we have a lot of projects!). 

Anyway, my parents are heading over for a weekend of good food and rain. We plan to eat Ethiopian food tonight and then try somewhere new on Saturday...any recommendations!?

Happy Friday you all! Any exciting plans for the weekend?
Brian and I and a few friends are heading across the mountains to a little town called Leavenworth. 
It is a "Bavarian-style" village, that throws an Oktoberfest that gives Munich a run for its money. 
We are each bringing our old school motor homes, so hopefully we will be able to brave the 20 degree nights. I'm planning on the beer dulling some of that cold.

Happy Friday you all! I'm back in Coeur d'Alene to pick up most of my things that I left at my parents house, like shoes! My feet were pretty cold in flip flops! Anyway, I make the 5 hour trek back to Seattle this afternoon and can't wait to finally unpack and get settled into our new apartment. What do you all have planned for the weekend?

We have another bachelorette party this weekend...mine!  Almost all of my girlfriends are making the trip from Seattle (and L.A.) to Coeur d'Alene and I am super excited to see them all! We are going to get our cowgirl on at a country bar on Friday and then Saturday, we are hanging on the lake and then it's bachelorette party time...don't worry we are going to border on "classy."

Hope everyone's week went as fast as mine did! I'm heading to Big Fork, Montana today for a bachelorette/girls weekend! I am excited to head into Montana and am hoping between the mimosas and tanning, we can sneak in a good hike!

Speaking of hiking, I am reading Wild, by Cheryl Strayed. It is a book about the author's life and coming to grips with her mom's death while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I love it so far, and i'm not far from purchasing some boots, and heading out into the wilderness. Happy trails my friends!

Happy Friday you all. I'm getting settled back into Coeur d'Alene and man it is HOT. As for this weekend, the town has tripled in size because it is Ironman, so people from around the world are here to swim 2.4 miles, bike 112, and run 26. I will gladly be relaxing on the sidelines, cheering, while drinking margaritas!

What do you all have planned for the weekend? I see actual sunshine today so i'm praying june gloom (juneuary) is over! Anyway, on Saturday we are going to walk down to the Solstice Parade in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.  It is basically a very crazy and very strange hippie/ artist/ nudist parade in celebration of the summer solstice, i'll post some photos next week.  On a sad note, it's my last weekend with my salty fisherman, so i've got to squeeze in a date for us amidst packing up our apartment, so wish us luck... Hope you all have a great weekend!

What do you all have planned for the weekend? It is supposed to be *gasp* 70 degrees here! The first time it's been past 60 degrees all year! So we are going to take the opportunity to get out and go camping up near Mt. Vernon. Every year in April, the Mt. Vernon area (which is near Bellingham) is filled with bright colored tulips, so we are bringing our bikes and going to ride throughout the tulip farms!

Did you know that Earth Day is Sunday?  Well in honor of all things green, this Friday's "link love" will focus on all things eco-friendly.
